Do All You Can
We Are One
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
Uh way oh way, uh way oh way
Chorus
We are one in the Spirit – We are one in this world
We are one in the Spirit
Everybody, every soul, everywhere we turn
Well, life is gonna change when inside we change
And take that journey to the heart
You are my brother, you are my sister
And not one of us can live apart
(Chorus)
Involve yourself in, it’s time to begin
For the healing of this earth
Many small steps here, millions of feet now
Can carry everybody to re-birth
(Chorus)
Uh way oh way, uh way oh way
So as you take yourself, give back to someone else
All the nations here belong
Tear down illusions, shore up with truth
‘Til you and I, we sing a worldwide song
My Heart
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
My heart is the start of love – My heart is the
start of love
When life all around, feels like it’s fallin’ down
My heart is
the start of love
My heart is a home for joy – My heart is a home
for joy
When life all around, feels like it’s fallin’ down
My heart is
a home for joy
Now I’m getting stronger, now I truly see
All I know
for certain
The change begins in me - It begins in me
My heart is a place for peace – My heart is a
place for peace
When life all around, feels like it’s fallin’ down
My heart is
a place for peace
My heart, my heart is a place for peace
7 Wonders Of The World
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
Today at my school in world history
Teacher popped a quiz,
he said, “This is easy
Just name the 7 wonders of the world for me” -
So this is what we wrote:
The pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal, the Panama
Canal, China’s Great
Wall
World famous landmarks, we counted them all - Yes, they got every
vote
Then I noticed the shy girl who sits next to me
Hadn’t
turned in her list, it was plain to see
Teacher asked her what the trouble
might be - And this is what she said:
“There’s so many answers,
I don’t
know what to say”
Teacher said, “Maybe we can help find a way
- Just read us your list”
The girl hesitated, then this is what she
read:
Chorus
“To touch, to see, to taste and to feel
To laugh and to
hear, to love while we’re here
These are such wonders, wonderful wonders
7 wonders of the world”
Well, you could have heard a pin drop in that room
Nobody
spoke, nobody moved
‘Til someone asked the girl to read it once more
through
And so she spoke again:
(Chorus)
It’s a gentle reminder from a gentle soul
We take for
granted gifts worth more than gold
And the richest treasures in life’s
plan
Cannot be built by our own hand
(Chorus)
Do All You Can (Nkosi's Song)
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
One little boy in Africa, he put a face on AIDS
Told his story
to the world ‘til he died
And these are the words, the words he said – He
said:
Chorus
“Do all you can with what you have
In the time you have
in the place you are
Do all you can - Do all you can”
Holy mother from India, helpin’ the sick and the
poor
Somebody asked, “Why do you do these things?”
She said, “This
is what I came here for” – She
said:
(Chorus)
This is the gift they gave to us, to share wherever we go
“Be
the change you wish to see in the world”
Now I understand what they
wanted us to know – You
can:
(Chorus)
Through the Eyes of Love
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
We started on this journey, our convictions all in place
But
one by one they tumble; each one a gift, a gift from grace
We can change,
change our point of view
And gaze upon the beauty that is me, that is
you
Chorus
We see what we want to see, and what we wish to be
It’s
just the way we dream it
The key to what we would believe is just to know
that
Everything’s a miracle when seen through the eyes
of love
Now when we seem divided, and stand here feeling very small
That’s when there comes the courage to knock a
hole out of this wall
We take time, time to find what’s true
And now no other looks upon
my soul the way you do
(Chorus)
A simple man becomes a king, a child flies on silver wings
A
woman now becomes a queen, and none of us are what we seem
We see what we
want to see
A simple man becomes a king, a child flies
on silver wings
And what we wish to be
Anything is possible
It’s
just the way we dream it
The key to what we would believe
A woman now becomes a
queen, and none of us are what we seem
Is just to know that
Everything’s a miracle when seen, through
the eyes of love
Through the eyes of love, everything’s a miracle
Temporarily Sane
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
I was up for a big promotion, but it went to my co-worker
Ray
My brain was spinnin’ with so much emotion, the
jealousy and the pain
Then a strange kind of voice inside me said, “Hey,
there’s
enough for us all”
And as I watched my fears disappearing, I guess
I must have gone:
Temporarily sane – Oo, what a beautiful feelin’
Temporarily
sane – I got some truth, I had some
healin’
A little shift in perception is all it took to see
Now I want to be, at least,
temporarily sane
I got into a fight with my baby; all our defenses went up
But just as it was getting crazy, she suddenly said, “Let’s
surrender to love”
She said, “We could be happy instead of
right and see innocence once again”
I just stopped and looked deep
in her eyes; yes, I could see she went:
Temporarily sane – Not of this world, just in
it
Temporarily sane – Here and now for more than
a minute
If she can teach me to live in this moment a little longer each
day
Then maybe I could stay temporarily sane
Now for some it’s a brilliant intuitive flash;
the big epiphany
Me, I keep workin’ to find the right notes that
somehow fit into the harmony
Well, it’s a mixed up, passionate planet;
we’ve
got beauty and catastrophe
Some of us live in sweet abundance, some of
us in misery
But no matter your situation, here’s a truth you
can know
When we step on the path to compassion, that’s when we’ll
surely go:
Temporarily sane – Certifiably free
Temporarily sane – Spiritual
beings on a human journey
When we break down this illusion that you are
separate from me
Then we’ll finally, forever be temporarily sane
Extraordinarily sane – Permanently
sane

What I Believe
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
I used to think this world was just as it seems
I went crazy
when I tried to change it
But after many years and miles, I’ve finally
come to realize
I can simply change my mind to re-arrange it
Chorus
And what I believe, what I believe
What I believe is true,
is true for me
And what I believe, what I believe
What I believe is true may not be true
for you
I’ve learned what seems to be, is not reality
‘Cause
whatever we desire we will see it
But we can get past this reflection to the
mirror of the heart
Where our vision of this world is blessed by spirit
(Chorus)
Illusion wears me down after awhile
Delusion would let me drown
in denial
So if everything we see is only a dream
I must wake myself
from this hallucination
‘Cause when we come awake, we understand only
love remains
Then we bring this love to every situation
So what I believe, what I believe
What I believe is there is
only love for me
And what I believe, what I believe
What I believe is true, is there’s
only love for you
And what I believe, what I believe
What I believe is true,
is there’s only love for
me and you
Love for me and you
Expression
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
I am an expression of the spirit, of the spirit
A beautiful
expression of the spirit, of the spirit
Magnificent expression of the spirit,
of the spirit
A unique, un-repeatable expression of God
I am an expression of the spirit, of the spirit
Right time,
right place; an expression of the spirit
I’m fabulous, I’ve got
it; an expression of the spirit
A unique, un-repeatable expression of God
These Times
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
I can hear such sadness in the voices of my friends
Talkin’ ‘bout
this world and its pain
But we must not lose heart; we cannot give up hope
For long have we journeyed
waiting for this day
Chorus
These times, these times - These times seem so uncertain, so unkind
But
this path makes us stronger the higher we climb
We were made for these times
Let us turn our fears into courage, into faith
Our greed, to
generosity
We can give our anger to love’s compassion
And move this injustice toward
peace and unity
(Chorus)
Didn’t we say we are believers? – Didn’t
we ask for grace?
We must remember, right now we are needed
To stand and shine our light in
this hour, in this place
(Chorus)
We shall use our voices, we will not walk blind
We were made
for these times
Our hearts were made for these times
One Great Power
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
There is just one presence, there is just one light
Shinin’ in
the world like a beacon in the night
There is just one power we all can
share
One great power everywhere
Chorus
One great power, one great love
Big as the ocean and the skies up above
One great Spirit waiting in prayer,
one great power everywhere
Yes, there’s one great power everywhere
There is just one purpose, there is just one spark
Burnin’ in
our souls like a candle in the dark
There is just one chorus we all can sing
With one great power, let it ring
(Chorus)
Stop, Step Back
(Robert D. Anderson)
Totally Intact Tunes, ASCAP
Sha na na na uh wo-oh wo-oh – Just stop, step back
I was struggling with a mighty problem, it kept me up half
the night
The more I tried to overcome it, the harder I seemed to fight
So I asked
a friend to help me solve it, something to give me an edge
But instead of
joining the battle, this is what she said:
Chorus
“Are you willing
to stop, step back, breathe and be open
Stop, step back; let spirit guide your way
Are you willing to hold a place
of not knowing what is next
Stop, step back, breathe and be open”
Sha na na na uh wo-oh wo-oh – Just stop, step back
I said, “This all sounds a little bit crazy, why
would I just want to quit?”
She said, “It’s more like surrender, there’s
nothing for you to fix
In fact there’s not even a problem, though you believe that it’s
true
And if you take some time to rest your mind, the answer
will come through”
(Chorus)
“Well, you can bang your head against a wall over
and over
You’ll only damage your brain
But if you keep expecting the wall to
fall down
That’s a little something that just might be called
insane”
(Chorus)
Sha na na na uh wo-oh wo-oh – Just stop, step back
